During the covid lockdown’ era, I developed very dry and itchy skin on my hands which I thought was due to the excess use of sanitizers…especially as I work in a classroom and had to keep everything as clean as possible. Then the same happened on the tops of my feet but this started to itch and no matter what I put on it…from just about every cream or oil that was recommended by friends and family, to rice water and other home remedies but nothing seemed to work. Last year I developed Shingles – not a pleasant experience at all. One of the negative aspects is an itchy, painful, burning rash that often turns into blisters and scabbing. This very easily leaves scarring, which obviously is something that one would prefer not to have as a permanent reminder of a painful and very unpleasant couple of weeks. I had BioSeal on hand and started applying it to the rash within the first couple of days of the symptoms appearing. I can honestly say the BioSeal Body Cream has been the most amazing cream I ever used. I have been suffering with terrible neurodermatitis in 2021. The skin on my hands started peeling (flaking) about 6 months ago and a bit later on my feet as well. I have tried so many different hand and foot creams and balms from the pharmacy, Dischem, Clicks and other shops, always looking for products with the least artificial ingredients. I even tried unsalted butter, coconut oil, olive oil, pure lanolin etc, but I kept reacting to everything. I took antihistamines and had prescribed strong cortisone cream treatment, which helped my raw skin slightly, but then my condition got worse again (long-term cortisone treatment thins your skin, so that was no longer an option). I got to a stage where I only washed my hands once or twice a day (recommendation by my doctor), as I even reacted to water. In my desperation I came across an amazingly helpful Rep from BioSeal, who sent me few samples. BioSeal Body Cream was a total answer to prayer. It was the first cream I didn’t react to, and it felt so soothing on my hands. Since then I have only been using BioSeal Body Cream. It changed my life, as my damaged skin on my hands and feet started to heal slowly. Today I can wash my hands more frequently again like before, and my hands and feet are almost back to normal. I am a regular user of BioSeal now and can highly recommend this cream to anyone who has a skin condition like I had. So grateful that we have such a great product in South Africa!!
